Abstract

|
The present experiments were designed to investigate the effects of Aqua-acupuncture with Samultang and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae extract on RBC, Hemogolbin and Hematocrit in CCl_4-intoxicated rats.
The results obtained are summerized as follows;
1. Aqua-acupuncture with Samultang and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae extract increased RBC in CCl_4-intoxicated rats.
2. Aqua-acupuncture with Samultang extract increased Hb in CCl_4-intoxicated rats.
3. Aqua-acupuncture with Samultang and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae extract increas-ed Hct in CCl_4-intoxicated rats.
From above results, it is suggested that Aqua-acupuncture with Samultang and Radix SALVIAE miltiorrhizae extract has a valid and curative effect on the anemia in CCl_4-intoxicated rats.
